Opening a new chapter: Windelo launch the 58 and 62

• Barreau & Neuman, renowned naval architects, brought unmatched expertise in seaworthiness, performance, and offshore cruising. Christophe Barreau explains: “When we began designing the 58 and 62, our mission was clear: to create catamarans that push the boundaries of offshore cruising. More space, more comfort, more autonomy — without compromising performance or sustainability. For us, true performance means not only sailing fast, but sailing more often, even in just 3 or 4 knots of wind. That is real freedom at sea.”
• The Stellantis Design Studio, with its heritage in automotive design, infused the project with a new perspective. Design Director Hugo Nightingale shares: “Our goal was to capture Windelo’s DNA in the very lines and shapes of these yachts. We wanted to create a seamless onboard experience — cabins that feel open, light, and connected to the sea, with panoramic 360-degree views and a roof that seems to float effortlessly. These are not just design choices, but the essence of what makes Windelo so distinctive.”

Together, these collaborations have created yachts that are both elegant and functional — spaces that embody freedom, harmony, and connection with the ocean.

The launch of the Windelo 58 and 62 is not just an expansion of the range. It’s the reaffirmation of a philosophy: to sail differently, to live closer to the sea, and to embrace a future where performance and ecology go hand in hand.
