If you are already dreaming of life aboard, visiting the Windelo shipyard is a great way to bring that dream closer—and to see firsthand what makes a build with us so special.

Just a short trip from the airports of Barcelona, Toulouse, and Montpellier—or directly accessible from Paris via high-speed train (TGV)—we welcome you to our shipyard in Canet-en-Roussillon.

If you are unable to travel, we can also offer remote tours via video call.

By appointment, we offer several-hour sea trials so you can discover the unique feeling of sailing and living aboard a Windelo.
Looking for a longer experience? Our catamarans are also available for charter.

Since building a catamaran is a months-long journey, your dedicated counterpart will be in touch with you every step of the way.

Through video calls or photographs, you see your new home being built! If you wish, we can also plan in-person visits to the shipyard.

The Canet-en-Roussillon nautical zone offers all the necessary services to prepare for life aboard.
Here, you can ready your catamaran for long-distance cruising, have your gear and personal items delivered and stored, and enjoy one month of port access from the day of delivery.

A true highlight in your project, the handover is a key stage in the delivery of your Windelo catamaran. It is a special time to meet our team and gain essential knowledge about your boat.
During the handover, our experts will guide you through all the technical aspects of your Windelo, cockpit handling, port manoeuvers, and sailing techniques.

Our team is also available to answer any questions or dive deeper into topics of your choice. Want to enhance your onboard experience? Our delivery team can create a custom follow-up program of several days or several weeks (if necessary with a professional skipper) based on your needs.

Want to sharpen your Windelo knowledge or sailing skills? For your first major trips, you can be accompanied by a Windelo skipper.

Whether you’re looking to refine your sailing technique, train on Windelo-specific systems, or gain confidence in heavy weather—your skipper adapts to your goals to ensure you’re ready for solo sailing with peace of mind.

Within just a few hours of sailing, you can clear customs in Tunisia or Gibraltar—and plan your first technical stop back at the Windelo shipyard in Canet-en-Roussillon.

If you’re joining events like the World Cruising Club’s ARC or World ARC, Windelo and its partners will help prepare your catamaran for both departure and key stopovers.

You’ll also become part of the Windelo fleet and community—connecting with fellow owners and enthusiasts. Welcome aboard!
