Svag & Co, a 2024 Windelo 54 Yachting, embodies a true Mediterranean way of life — more instinctive, more sustainable, yet always centered around the pleasure of sailing.

Since her launch, this 54-foot catamaran has cruised between Sardinia, the European coastline, and Greece, combining long coastal passages, off-the-grid anchorages, and extended stays close to nature — far from crowded marinas and noise. After a first season in Sardinia followed by a winter haul-out in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, France, Svag & Co gradually made her way toward Greece, enjoying the beauty of the European coastline and the Ionian Sea before another winter ashore.

Onboard, her owners embraced a deeply eco-conscious approach to cruising, favoring light-wind sailing, fine sail trim, and the pleasure of helming a catamaran that is responsive, well balanced, and genuinely rewarding under sail. Built for offshore passagemaking and long-distance cruising, Svag & Co was instead enjoyed as a platform for a slower and more contemplative way of life at sea — centered around sailing, nature, and off-the-grid anchorages.

The layout features a full owner’s hull to port with a master cabin, private office, dressing area, and spacious ensuite bathroom, while the starboard hull accommodates two comfortable guest double cabins with a separate toilet and dedicated shower room. The nacelle living area integrates Windelo’s signature forward cockpit, a large U-shaped galley, a sunbed/watch berth, and a dining area designed to comfortably welcome up to 10 guests.

Exclusively sailed by her owners, Svag & Co has benefited from meticulous care and a particularly rigorous maintenance program since day one. Always proactive with servicing and inspections, her owners have maintained the boat in outstanding condition. The sails were removed for winter storage and fully serviced by a sail loft during the 2025–2026 winter season and are now in excellent condition. The standing rigging was also fully inspected and serviced during the winter.

Designed to maximize sailing performance and energy autonomy, the boat features a generator that has seen very limited use and has been carefully serviced at every winter haul-out. This offshore cruising catamaran also benefits from a particularly well-thought-out energy setup, including 4500 W of flexible solar panels, complemented by an additional 1 kW of deployable solar panels for use at anchor on the lifelines or trampoline, a 400 W wind generator, and an overall boat management system designed to support long stays at anchor while minimizing environmental impact.

The engine compartments also reflect the level of care invested in the boat, with exceptional maintenance throughout, as does the dinghy outboard engine, fully serviced during the 2025–2026 winter season. The Coppercoat antifouling — kept in remarkable condition thanks to extensive sailing and winter storage ashore — further contributes to the boat’s excellent overall condition.
